Mitch Eaglstein is the Founder and CEO of Forex Development Corporation, a fully integrated technology service provider for banks, CFD Brokers, CryptoCurrency and Blockchain companies.
An entrepreneur himself with a demonstrated history in the financial services industry, Mitch Eaglstein is driven every day to deliver high-quality solutions to forex market participants.
Mitch Eaglstein is responsible for leading the development and execution of the Company’s long-term strategy with the primary focus to enhance shareholder value. He ensures the Company has necessary organizational and technology infrastructure and is responsible for deploying Capex and approving budgets.
Mitch Eaglstein attended the University of Florida – Warrington College of Business where he studied International Economics. Subsequently, he attempted to become a Comedian and took courses at Second City of Chicago, where many famous American Comedians have attended. Mitch Eaglstein learned the valuable skills of Improv which have provided him the skill sets needed to moderate panels and be an effective CEO. After realizing he was not very funny he entered the world of finance after answering an advertisement to become a commodity broker in Chicago — and he quickly realized in 2005 when his first boss told him that there were no experts in FX that he could be just as much an expert as anybody in the market. He understood that this field had endless opportunity for growth, especially in terms of technological solutions.
Since then, for well over a decade, Mitch Eaglstein has cultivated extensive executive level experience at management of FX brokerage and FinTech software companies. Further, Mr. Eaglstein has participated in several panel discussions as distinguished industry experts in various forex related conferences and tradeshows. Interestingly, Mr. Eaglstein attributes his experience training in Improv at Second City Chicago in providing him the skill sets needed to moderate panels, perform a best man speech and be an effective CEO.
From June 2011 to May 2014, Mitch Eaglstein held increasingly executive positions at Boston Technologies; he started as a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst and was eventually promoted to Managing Director. From March 2009 to May 2011, Mr. Eaglstein led FXCM Systems, LLC as its Chief Information Officer where he successfully provided white label and software development solutions to FXCM and also on behalf for FXCM, one of the largest forex broker-dealers in the world.
From January 2007 to March 2011, he served as the Chief Operating Officer, and Chief Information Officer for Avalon Capital Holdings Corporation developed, marketed and distributed high-performance proprietary trading software for financial companies that engage in online forex trading. From January 2007 to Feb 2009, Mr. Eaglstein was the Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Traders Development COO Traders Development, LLC a financial software company, based in Irvine, California.
As someone who has worked internationally, Mitch Eaglstein always makes it a point to take the best of what he has learned from around the world and incorporate it into his own life. He has has led global teams with offices in the Middle East, North America, Russia, and Asia to success. From these experiences, he has culled important lessons which inform his long-term business strategies in the forex market.
